Fairly clean, good budget hotel with really helpful and respectful staff. Friendliness of the staff. Perfect and nice location right opposite the international market place, in the very friendly area. Fab meal at beach restaurant.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was exceptionally clean and well outfitted with towels/kitchenette/comfortable bedding and pillows and our room was quiet(although a nightclub downstairs, open until 0330 A.M. was sad for some other guests.)Beach gear was well used and available from the desk free and the beach was an easy block through the Marketplace!(shopping was all AROUND!!!)buses were at the door!
The nightclub, basically outside our hotel door and open until 0330 A.m was loud, although security for the hotel does a great job of establishing a *quiet zone* beneath our windows, so we weren't affected. The settee sleeping foams were old, although functional...and we opted not to pull down the *Murphy bed*I'd still go back there in a minute!

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were efficient. the property's location was ideal, conveniently close to everything. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese cuisine offered at the beach restaurant. my stay here was really enjoyable.

the staff are great
when booking the internet site does not ask for smoking or non smoking. We were put into a smoking room the first night and did n iot have a choice becasue we arrived late. In the morning the staff were great in getting us into a nonsmoking room

Loved Honolulu, the hotel was reasonably priced near restaurants and stores. Our room was a nice size and complete with a blow dryer and well-equipped kitchen, for example. The location was absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from an air mall.

It was really close to the beach and nightlife of Waikiki. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
During our stay we had a gas leak so we did not have warm water in our room. It was very inconvenient but understandable and the staff did the best they could to accomodate us.

The location of the Kuhio Banyan Hotel is amazing, it's right in the heart of everything. And the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. For this price, I expected much less, and we got WAY more than expected for our money!

Great location if you like parties: close to all clubs. Not good if you just want to sleep. Super good value for money!
